Lead Pastor

Peter and Debbie Bosworth, because of their personal encounters with the life-changing power of God, bring to the ministry of Abundant Life Church a genuine desire to bring the message of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible. In April 1978, as a construction worker, Peter committed his life to following Jesus Christ. Having had a background of church affiliation as the son of a United Church of Christ pastor, Peter found that a personal relationship with God, the Father and Jesus Christ, His Son, was vastly different and more exciting than any "religious" experience of his past. After being baptized in water and the Holy Spirit I realized God has called me to preach the word. Peter attended and graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, with a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Ministry. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.

Debbie came to the Lord in 1977, six months before her mother died from cancer at the age of 35. Two weeks prior to dying, Debbie's mother asked her to get someone to pray with her to receive Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. With her mother's death, Debbie and her sister were left legally as orphans as her father had abandoned the family when they were young. The pastors of the church Debbie and her sister were attending stepped up and said we want these girls, and ended up adopting Debbie and her sister.Debbie is a licensed minister and felt the call to ministry at the age of 16. Debbie attended Central Bible College where she and Peter met and were married June 5, 1981. Peter and Debbie have been in ministry for more than 33 years. They planted a church in Peoria, IL and were pastors there from 1984 - 1999 and have been the pastors of Abundant Life Church from February 2, 1999 to present.

Children's Pastor

I was born and raised in Minnesota and enjoy the outdoors. I love to make people smile and laugh anyway that I can even if I have to make a fool of myself in the process. I have been involved in Children's Ministry since 2011 and have a passion to see kids come to know Jesus. I am married to my beautiful wife Amanda and we have two daughters, Trinity and Isabel.

Erin Archer

Worship Leader

Hi, my name is Erin Archer, and I am the worship leader at Abundant Life. I graduated from Ball State with degrees in vocal and instrumental music, and I have been using those skills to lead worship for over eight years now. I have been attending Abundant Life for over a decade, and I am proud to be part of such a welcoming and loving community. Since the fall of 2020, I have had the privilege of leading our congregation in worship, and it has been a truly rewarding experience. Outside of church, I am a wife to my husband Scott Archer, and a mother to my three daughters, Chloeann, Elaina and baby Avery. I believe that worship is an opportunity to connect with God in a deeply personal way, and I am honored to be able to facilitate that connection for others.
